My first-ever t-shirt quilt is finished - my Rocky Horror t-shirts.. I opted for a simple quilting pattern copied from Riff & Magenta's space suits at the the end of the film. About half of the shirts I've collected along the way from various casts and conventions, and the rest were internet purchases. There's a couple that mis-represent my history a little, but I chose them because they were closest I could find to the events I wanted to represent (such as my participation in the late 80s, and seeing the show in London in 1991).
I backed all the pieces with interfacing before cutting them into squares. The back is just solid black cotton.
