Fig & Plum Quilt

Trying to work through my stockpile. This fabric is from Moda's 2008 Fig & Plum collection so that puts me about 5 years behind! Dudley's not terribly fond of the color scheme, but my mom likes it just fine so it's going in her living room when it's finished. She needs a quilt on her couch anyhow.

I've finished all the squares and I'm on the sashing now. It should probably be machine-quilted so it can be machine-washed, but I'm not sure if I'm up for the task. I guess we'll see what it costs to get it done on a longarm - and that may be a deciding factor.

On the plus side, my favorite local fabric shop, GRS Creations, finally has a website.  They carry virtually everything by Moda. They also have some Fig & Plum selections left - which was fortunate since I was two squares short of finishing my quilt with the jelly roll strips.
