Simple Corset

I made this for my friend Molly who loves purple.  I had just enough fabric on hand to make something useful.  It's just the basic Simplicity pattern - easy to knock out in a day.  This is the project I was working on a couple months ago when I sliced the tip of my finger off.  I was cutting bias strips with a rotary cutter to make the edge binding.  So of course I called Molly to take me to the ER.  "What were you making?"  "A surprise for you."   Heh.

I would like to try some more advanced corset designs someday. Someday.  For now, I mostly just need them to go under the dresses I wear and need not be seen.
