Workshop Updates

Many years ago when I lived alone in the Heights a neighbor had put his old dining table and chairs out to the curb.  The table had a solid wood top and it was going to be my new work table.  Plus, it was the perfect size for the cutting mat I use.  My mom found some adjustable metal saw horses for me so I could put the table top at an ideal height (see it here).

The problem with metal saw horses was even though they were bright yellow I was forever taking out toes on those outward angled legs.  And then so was my husband.  He'd curse and I'd simply say "I know."

So when I was in New Jersey two years ago my husband surprised me and put proper legs on my work table with casters so I could move it around as needed.  The carts I keep under my work table (for smaller yardages and scraps) are also on wheels, so it's like one giant moving work station.

Then I added the peg board to one end to keep my supplies handy.  I have this belief that if I can see what I'm looking for,\ I'm less likely to make a horrendous mess looking for it.

Also, I'm sooooo loving the new laminate floors we put down.  The flooding toilet was the perfect excuse to get rid of the carpet.  I'd like a new toilet in my shop now, please.
