These are from my Knitting Vintage Socks book by Nancy Bush - one of my favorites. The design is modified from an original pattern printed by Weldon's in 1900. I have a dress in mind that I'd love to wear them to Dicken's on the Strand with. The yarn is "Anne" by Schaefer (hand-painted) and at $29/hank is a little pricier than I would normally choose.
