1860's Day Dress (Cotton)

This poor dress has been waiting patiently since May '08 for me to decide on a trim. At least it's my own dress and not a customer. But I finally found something that is simple enough to not fight the busy fabric. It's a cotton trim (from JoAnn's) that I attached on top of a blue satin ribbon I had on hand. I actually played with several ribbon colors before settling on this shade of blue. It's only sewn on one side right now because I wanted to be sure I liked it.
