I finished two scrappy quilts - same pattern, but reverse placement of color schemes. I think I'm going to keep the quilting really simple. I need to finish quilting the Log Cabin before I can load them.
I also quilted a baby blanket for a friend - just a simple panto. She's new at quilting and her pieces didn't line up. Most long-armers would probably just send it back or trim it down square, but I took it apart and fixed it for her. This happened because she didn't measure the length of the piece she was attaching - she just sewed a long, unmeasured strip of the white onto the quilt. Without a walking foot (or cutting it to the exact measurement and pinning it) the fabrics will most definitely feed differently (the piece on bottom will come up shorter).
