Pfaff 332 Variations

This post will be edited and updated as I'm able to learn more. This began when I was trying to find the serial number on my 332 to date it. The number is located inside the motor panel, but you don't have to remove the cover to see it like I did - you can shine a flashlight through the vent slots. The serial number should be 7 digits long and you can look it up on the Int'l ISMACS page

My serial number is 4831964 - according to the database it was made in 1952.

Machine Variations
I've aware of 3 variations, but have only been able to confirm the full model number of 1 of them; the 332-6 (a.k.a. The 332 Automatic). I have seen people mention a 332-B and a 332-4 in various forums, but can't find any further information so I'll call them 332-x and 332-y for now until I figure out what is what. Can you help?

The 332-x
This model has a lever and slide to the right of the needle position scale (7). According to the manual these are the Buttonhole Width regulating lever (9) and slide (10).

The 332-y
This is what my 332 looks like, and this model has a dial (5) and sliding lever (6) above the needle position (7). There is just a hole where the above-mentioned model has the Buttonhole lever. As far as I can tell, everything else is pretty much the same.

The 332-6 / 332 Automatic
This is the most sought after model for it's added stitch features. You'll notice the additional dials on the top of the machine intended to be dialed in a variety of combinations to achieve the stitches. I believe it is the portable version of the Pfaff 230 and/or 260 (and you'll see some manuals with both numbers listed).
