The back is finished. The dimensions are very close to matching the original source in Seventeenth-Century Women’s Dress Patterns: Book 1. When I restarted, I added the border to the top and bottom, and change the pattern ground to the gold. I've finished the right front piece and am working on the left now. I am also trying to devise an outfit to accompany it. I have no idea how the knit jackets were worn in the 17th century - there is much speculation. Maybe a linen shirt trimmed with bobbin-lace and a plain skirt?
