And the cuffs are on! Whew! I can't believe I've been pecking away at this project for 2½ years. But it's finally done. The fabric is a very thin, almost sheer cotton, so the voluminous yards drape well. The pattern is from Peachtree Mercantile and has wonderfully detailed instructions and illustrations. I could probably even get away with a wider crinoline. Quite a bit of this was hand-sewn, but any exposed seams inside were serged for longevity.
