This is the hat for Redhead costume I'm working on. The roses weren't as difficult as I anticipated - my second concern was how heavy that side of the hat would be!
I used two buckram hat forms to get the shape; Picture Frame and Pill Box. I used cotton velveteen from JoAnn's and a really pretty satin I found there, too.
