I just discovered that Hancock's is discontinuing the heavy duty hook & eye tape. This is the stuff I use on the sequin bustiers I make. It's normally $21.99 ($13.19 with a 40% off coupon) - but I was able to stockpile it for $2/yd on clearance!! No really, I bought like 20 yards - which is enough to make 50 tops.

I noticed Farthingales also carries it... for $12.16 yard + shipping. I guess if I ever use up 20 yards of the stuff I'll have a back-up option.

I'm really not fond of zippers in these kind of tops. Zippers cause puckering, are not generally designed for horizontal stress and have a habit of getting stuck or breaking at the worst times.
