Christmas Present for Mom

This is the quilt I started last Friday for my mom. It's 45" x 57" - so not a bedspread, but still a nice size. The "top" was pieced together by machine, but once it was sandwiched with the batting and back, it was quilted by hand. My fingers hurt so much because I have a collection of three types of thimbles that I've yet to succeed in using.
